#RebuildUkraine
The #RebuildUkraine blog series features expert insights and first-hand experiences of Ukrainian scholars and activists in relation to ongoing efforts to rebuild the country in the midst of war, and to plans and solutions for post-war reconstruction.
We take a holistic approach to rebuilding, which includes physical reconstruction and intangibles such as the capacity and resilience of Ukrainian civil society, democratic governance, and education. Rebuilding is also an ongoing process, which has already started during the war and will be affected by how the war develops.
This broad understanding is reflected in the wide range of topics covered, including: Ukrainian democracy, resilience, institution-building, reconstruction and economic policies, recovery of the environmental damage, foreign policy, European integration, migration, psychological assistance and recovery for Ukrainians, as well as international actors’ policies vis-à-vis Ukraine and its rebuilding.
Written in an accessible and engaging style, the series addresses scholars and practitioners and aims to provide impetus for future research as well as practical interventions.
